Practice based activity which improves patient care. Not independently validated by the ICGP and operates on an ‘honour’ basis, however, material associated with meetings, etc. should be kept in your personal folder for validation. Record activity in hours in summary sheet 1. 2. ICGP accredited activities and meetings outside the practice. GP’s must sign an attendance register at each meeting and collect a certificate of attendance. Record meeting attendance and number of CAS credits as approved in summary sheet 2 and keep your certificate of attendance in your personal folder. 3. Self-directed reading and study. Record activity in hours in summary sheet 3. 4. There is no obligation to undertake research, examining etc. , however, those who are involved in these activities can obtain credit. MICGP Examiners: 20 Credits pa. GP trainers/scheme directors etc. : 20 Credits pa. No certificates are required. Master theses etc. : Apply to ICGP for credits.
