Art. 2 – Compliance with requirements and procedures /2 § ATCOs employed by ANSPs shall be licensed § Providing ATS in the airspace of the territory to which the Treaty applies § Principal place of operations and their registered office, if any, located outside the territory subject to the provisions of the Treaty § Additionally meet both conditions: § They hold ATCO licence issued by a 3 rd country in accordance with ICAO Annex 1 § Demonstrate to CA that they received training and successfully passed examinations and assessments equivalent to those Annex I, Part ATCO, Subpart D, Section 1 -4 © 2015 EUROCONTROL 13

Art. 2 – Compliance with requirements and procedures /3 § Practical instructors and assessors employed by TO located outside the territory of the MS shall be deemed to have been qualified and meet both conditions § Hold an ATCO licence issued by a 3 rd country in accordance with ICAO Annex 1 with a rating and, if applicable, rating endorsement for which they instruct or assess § Demonstrate to CA that they received training and successfully passed examinations and assessments equivalent to those in Annex I, Part ATCO, Subpart D, Section 5 § Privileges specified in a certificate issued by a 3 rd country are limited to provide instr. & assessm. for TO located outside MS © 2015 EUROCONTROL 14
