Climate changes CO 2 and the greenhouse effect. What happens and what can we do?
What is the greenhouse effect • The earth constantly receives energy from the sun in an averaged of 342 W/m 2 all over the world. Some of the solar radiation (about 30%) is casted back to space from clouds. The atmosphere and the earth's surface absorb 20% and the rest - approx. 50% - is absorbed by soil and oceans, which then heat up.
What increases the greenhouse effect ? CO 2 helps to increase the greenhouse effect.
What helps to increase the greenhouse effect. • Exhaustion from cars. Plane engines. The exhaustion of buses. Cows fart
What happens to the CO 2? We release too much CO 2. We cut down the rainforest the trees exchange the CO 2 into oxygen.
What happens when the snow melts The sea level rises by 6 m across the earth it will flood many places. Especially in the lowlands. It will be much warmer on earth.
Play less PC Because you spend a lot of power
Wash at 30 degrees. Cold wash is much more CO 2 friendly. A

Less TV If you cut down your TV time you will save more electricity.
Turn off the lights when you leave a room. It will save you money on your bill.
Go by a bike More exercise and less CO 2 It is a win situation.

Unplug the mobile charger If you mobile charger is out of the socket you will save power and money.
Mobiles on solar energy. They are much more clever
