PLAY AT LEAST ONE SPORT THE AVERAGE GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF A LAKE PARK ATHLETE IS 4. 25 ON A 5. 0 SCALE OVER 40% OF OUR VARSITY LETTER WINNERS ACHIEVE ACADEMIC ALL- CONFERENCE. IN 2012 -13 19 OF OUR VARSITY ATHLETIC TEAMS WERE RECOGNIZED BY THE ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (IHSA) AS ACADEMIC ALL-STATE TEAMS.
