Cities of Great Britain.
Great Britain. It is known that capital of England is London. But there are other cities which are known outside of the country. They accept an important role in development of the country.
In life of people – the city is a place where they live, work, have a rest. And that the city developed people try to equip it on the style, character. From this leaves that any city of Great Britain isn't similar to another. And I want to tell to you about 11 cities of England.
Manchester is located on east to river Irvel in the Middle Ages entered into system of city defensive works, forming a water barrier from two parties. A geographical arrangement - an arrangement near to large seaport and coal-fields, and also presence of hydropower resources have played a key role in industrial growth of Manchester in the end of XVIII and in a XIX-th century.
Population of Manchester makes nearby 464 200 persons (2008). The stem-forming role in local economy is played by sector of services.

Edinburgh - the ancient capital of Scotland. Before the conquest by the English in Scotland Edinburgh was one of the most important centers of social and political life. For many centuries this was the seat of Scottish kings.
The main areas of Edinburgh - The Old Town and New Town. The city has many small shops selling souvenirs to tourists. Edinburgh is also full of cafes and restaurants.
