www. autonesting. com CIM-Plus Overview CIM-Plus contains; • CIM-Nest : Automatic Nesting Program with unique technologies. • CIM-NCPlus : Automatic Part and NC Programming Interactive Nesting The above two programs can be run individually or integrated together. CIM-Nest is differentiated by its unique algorithms and technologies for flame cutting machines. -Pixel Based representation and adapted SAA (Simulated Annealing Algorithms) -Pairing automatically and continuously for single parts as well as the paired during nesting -Vector based nesting algorithms CIM-NCPlus supports various flame cutting users’ specific requirements. CIM-NEST Real Shape parts Auto-Nesting system simultaneously on Multiple Plates Real Shape Parts Auto-nesting Algorithm Pixel Based Auto Nesting Recognizes the real shape of sheet and part geometry by Pixel representation. SAA(Simulated Annealing Algorithm) is adapted for Pixel Based Auto-Nesting. Vector Based Auto nesting is useful to optimizes many quantity of similar parts. It pairs the similar part and grouped the paired automatically and continuously. Combination of Pixel and Vector based Auto-Nesting is useful to save the material with pairing and grouping automatically in the Vector based Auto -nesting mode, and then searches the empty space and puts the smaller parts in it. User can combine two nesting modes. Auto-Nesting on Multiple sheets simultaneously Nests automatically to locate a part on the other sheet and exchange parts to find the better nest automatically as likely as human can do. During nest, it’s simulated the nesting so that user can inspire the better nest.

Rectangular part shapes recognition Reads the text file and converts each rectangular part from the text data, the length and width value automatically. Batch Auto-Nesting Set up The more nesting iterates, the better nest can be generated. In the left window, user can set up the number of iteration, target efficiency, and so on. Also sequences tool path according to the cutting direction. Selected parts are defined the manufacturing information together such as kerf diameter, lead in point/length/angle and so on. . Lead-in edit Bevel Functions The length, approaching angle and position of Lead in/out line & arc can be defined/redefined. Several types of bevel with corner loops are supported. Insert multiple Lead in For longer parts, multiple lead-in is supported to prevent the heat distortion of material.
