Central Piedmont Community College • One of the largest community colleges in the Carolinas Central Piedmont Community College • One of the largest community colleges in the Carolinas – serving more than 70, 000 students annually. • CPCC offers almost 300 degree, diploma and certificate programs, customized corporate training, market-focused continuing education, and hundreds of special interest classes. • CPCC’s vision: “To be the national leader in workforce development. ” • Recognized as "Community College of the Year" in 2002 by the National Alliance of Business • CPCC is a “career college, ” providing programs that help people get jobs. • CPCC is focused on student success and workforce development. • $280 million in Mecklenburg County bonds and other construction funds will allow college to add approximately 900, 000 square feet of space by 2019.
