Studytrips - Our Student Tours company We have booked this tour through leading educational travel company, Studytrips. We’ll benefit from their knowledge and experience in arranging school tours, as well as the 24 hour assistance they offer should we need their support whilst we are away.
Tour objectives On our tour, the 26 students will: • Visit, see and experience the sights of New York • Explore the history and heritage of Washington DC • Be safe and enjoy
Tour objectives • Sensible rules to maximise our ability to give clear instructions to pupils and to keep everyone safe will be discussed with the whole group prior to departing. • Parents are requested to support Mr Harrington as party leader, Mrs Rimmer (Key Stage 3 Mathematics Manager) and Ms Harris (Teacher of Art) • Pupils are requested to return to school after the trip as soon as they feel able.
Safety and Wellbeing • Individual cards for wallets • Teams with staff leaders (LH group, SR group, KH group) • Regular registers and counts • Supervised in shops, malls, tours and on public transport
Flights We will depart from London Heathrow, Flight No BA 177 13: 15 on Wednesday 28 th October, arriving at JFK 17: 15 We will depart from Washington Dulles, Flight No BA 292 22: 20 on Monday 2 nd November arriving at Heathrow 10: 20 Tuesday morning UK time. Final details will be available a month before the trip about the departure time from the school.
