Reactive facade at the Zeilgallery in Frankfurt, 1992 Christian Moeller and Ruediger Kramm Programming: Gideon May, Light design: Christian Bartenbach, Developer: Dr. Juergen Schneider A building façade which changes color distribution according to current weather conditions. Behind a screen of perforated aluminum, 120 floodlights fade from blue to yellow, illuminating the front of the building. The overall image is directed by a weather station on top of the building: the ambient temperature (variables: 0ş-30ş C) determines the amount of yellow on the blue wall. The yellow patches move in line with the direction of the wind. Wind speed governs how fast they move over the surface. Rain substitutes for wind and causes patches of yellow to fall vertically. The upper area of the facade is crossed horizontally by the wide, rapidly changing line graphic (LEDDisplay 4 m x 20 m) that visualizes the noise in the street in real-time. http: //christianmoeller. com/Christian-Moeller

Premiered on 25 th of May 2012 in the context of Vivid Sydney - Lighting The Sails https: //vimeo. com/45835867

Crown Fountain is an interactive work of public art and video sculpture featured in Chicago's Millennium Park, which is located in the Loop community area. Designed by Catalan artist Jaume Plensa and executed by Krueck and Sexton Architects, it opened in July 2004. The fountain is composed of a black granite reflecting pool placed between a pair of glass brick towers. The towers are 50 feet (15. 2 m) tall. Tthey use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to display digital videos on their inward faces. Construction and design of the Crown Fountain cost $17 million. Weather permitting, the water operates from May to October, intermittently cascading down the two towers and spouting through a nozzle on each tower's front face. http: //www. bostonglobe. com/lifestyle/2015/05/03/giant-floating-sculpture-rises-overgreenway/q.
