Opening Statement • Today we stand before you to ignite the values that have made St Peters Church an enduring sanctuary of the most High God. • To remind ourselves of the values of our fore bearers which have given our church its unique identity. • To re-affirm our enduring spirit, to choose our better history and legacies, to carry forward the spirit of can do, will do and it is done.
Opening Statement (ii) • Legacies which our fore bearers have laid in this sanctuary and evident in the projects that have been carried out successfully, Key legacies & Achievements i. e. St Peters House. • Peer Church Review: Similar projects have been successfully undertaken by Other Churches within the diocese.
Opening Statement (iii) • If our fore-bearers could do so much, our generation should hope to do better. • The resources to start and complete the project even without seeking external donations are within this family. • Let us accept this project as our individual and collective responsibility believing that in St Peter's church all things are possible.
PROJECT DETAILS • Project Location – Blk 79, plot 20, Chesachi Hani Okoro Afor Close, off Ayinde Akinmade Street via Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1 • Project Description – Block of 4 luxury flats • Project Estimated Costs – N 100 M. Approx. • Project Duration – 10 Months • Financing Structure – Donations, Pledges, etc • Commencement Date – August 2016 • Risk Factors – Waiver, Consent, Building Plan Approval.
PROJECT BENEFITS • Creating an enduring legacy • Providing additional revenue inflow in excess of N 14 Million @ N 3. 5 M per annum • Reducing dependence on the congregation for funding activities/programmes • Providing robust purse for improving/upscaling Church programmes & welfare

Divine Call • Prophet Nehemiah • Nehemiah 13 v. 14; 22 b & 31 b • Nehemiah's prayer for God's blessings for his contribution for building the wall of the holy city- as a refuge, sanctuary and platform that accounted for the exponential growth of Jerusalem till date. • A divine call to all & sundry to sacrifice for the Lord.
