Great Britain, as well as USA, is the biggest centre of rock music. Britain is home to many great and famous bands, singers and musicians.

«The Fab Four» , the most British band ever, almost the symbol of the UK. They are so popular, maybe more popular than Jesus Himself.

British Invasion The Rolling Stones Origin: London, England Genres: Rock, blues Years active: 1962–present

The Beatles’s hooligan competitors but not less famous. Their success is as big as Mick Jagger’s mouth.

Hard Rock Led Zeppelin Origin: London, England Genres: Hard rock, blues rock, folk rock, heavy metal Years active: 1968– 80

They say, this group dealt with the Satan. Devout people have tried to find devilish messages in their songs. Maybe, that is why they were so diabolically talented? However, this band is still the one of the greatest.

Progressive Rock Pink Floyd Origin: London, England Genres: Progressive rock, psychedelic rock, art rock Years active: 1965– 1995 2012– 2014

Pink Floyd is a band which incredible sound and deep lyrics may send you to the dark side of the Moon, tear down the walls and make pigs fly.

Queen Origin: London, England Genres: Rock Years active: 1970–present

They made show of rock. Even in skirts and wigs they are still fabulous! : )
