Definitions BRAINSTORMING – a way of developing new ideas and solving problems by having a meeting where everyone makes suggestions and they are discussed. CREATIVITY – mental characteristic that allows a person to think outside of the box, which results in innovative or different approaches to a particular task.
Brainstorming tips a) think of as many ideas as possible b) there should not be more than 8 or 10 people c) write down all ideas, however absurd d) don’t spend too long discussing any one item e) be enthusiastic and uncritical of other people’s contributions f) clearly define the problem or task g) study and evaluate ideas after the session
