Metalib n Successfully completed NSDL grant n n demonstrated the integration of NSDL content alongside licensed database content. Usability assessment work was performed on the NSDL prototype User interface is being rewritten in Ruby on Rails instead of Java Metalib (v. 4) was installed, configured, and tested.
Metalib, ctd. n CDL and UCLA working on a pilot portal n n Tailored for Women’s studies faculty and graduate students Will provide feedback on the deployment process, time and staff level required, CDL will use this information to decide about production deployment. Steve Toub is replacing Roy Tennant as project manager due to Roy accepting a position at OCLC.
Request Achievements n n n Sherry Willhite is the Project Manager Moved to VDX version 3. 0 (Oct 2006) My ILL Requests (Zportal) soft roll out (began Jan 07) Running automated patron privacy scripts to break the link between the patron record and the ILL record for items completed > 60 days previously (Feb 2007) UCR began borrowing via VDX (April 2007) Began the ILL archiving process to remove completed, inactive records from VDX (April 2007)
