BANKSETA LETSEMA V LEARNERSHIP PROJECT INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN A ONE YEAR LEARNERSHIP WITHIN THE BANKING AND MICRO FINANCE SECTOR The BANKSETA welcomes applications from learners with disabilities Financial Services Advice Learnership • • • Matriculated candidates who have English and Accounting (compulsory) and Mathematics (HG or SG) No candidates with a qualification higher than a 1 year post matric certificate will be considered A monthly allowance of R 2 000 will be paid It costs you nothing to apply for, or to participate in this learnership CLOSING DATE: 12 SEPTEMBER 2007 SELECTION CRITERIA • Currently unemployed, no current matriculants/students • Under the age of 30 • Can communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally • Do not have a criminal record • Have a clear credit record • Are not involved in other studies from 1 Jan 2008 to 31 Dec 2008 • Present a professional image • Can present a positive recommendation / official testimonial from eg. previous school, learning institution, church, etc. • Have the ability to deal / communicate with other people, i. e. clients • SA Citizen (Only full SA Citizenship will suffice) PLEASE NOTE Application forms will be available from 14 August 2007 and you can apply as follows : 1. Candidates not contacted for an interview by end October 2007 should assume that they were not successful. • The applicant must be able to attend formal training blocks in one of the following centres: Johannesburg; Pretoria; Vereeniging; Klerksdorp; Bloemfontein; Durban; Pietermaritzburg; Kimberley; Upington; Port Elizabeth; East London; Cape Town; Southern Cape (Garden Route); Nelspruit; Polokwane and will be responsible for their own transport and accommodation costs.
