August 29 th, 2004 – Michael Schumacher wins his 5 th consecutive Formula One Drivers' championship (and 7 th overall) at the 2004 Belgian Grand Prix to beat the 47 year old record held by Juan Manuel Fangio.
• Michael Schumacher was born on 3 of January 1969. Schumacher is a seventime Formula One (F 1) World Champion and is widely regarded as one of the greatest F 1 drivers of all time. • His father Rolf Schumacher was a bricklayer he created the first kart for the future champion by adding a small motorcycle engine to his pedal kart • To support his son's racing, Rolf Schumacher took on a second job renting and repairing karts, while his wife worked at the track's canteen. • Schumacher signed as a driver for the Benetton Formula One team in 1991 • In 1996 Schumacher moved to Ferrari and won another five consecutive drivers' titles with them from 2000 to 2004 • Schumacher and his younger brother, Ralf, are the only brothers to win races in Formula One, and they were the first brothers to finish 1 st and 2 nd in the same race • In December 2013, Schumacher suffered a serious head injury while skiing. He was in a medically induced coma from December 2013 until June 2014.

The reason being nitrogen has a more consistent pressure compared to normal air. • F 1 car engines complete their life in about two hours of racing. • Racing tyres are designed to last only 90 to 120 km. • When an F 1 driver puts brakes on his car he experiences huge deceleration. It could be compared to a regular car driving through a brick wall at the speed of 300 kmph. • Pit stop teams take only 3 seconds to refuel and change tyres on the car during the race

• Joel Schumacher was born in New York on August 29, 1939 • After first working in the fashion industry, he realized his true love was in • filmmaking. He moved out to Los Angeles, where he began his media work as a costume designer in films. • Two movies that made Joel Schumacher famous were Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin in 1997. • Some of the other works by Joel Schumacher are the Number 23 with Jim Carrey, the Phone Booth with Colin Farrell and The Phantom of the Opera. • Schumacher once admitted that his movie had disappointed fans of darker Batman adaptations, saying that the film was made intentionally marketable (or "toyetic") and kid-friendly. He claims to have been under heavy pressure from the studio to do so.
