Future Meetings (Tentative Schedule) • Sept. 23 rd – Students from ASDOH dental school for a Q&A about the application process and the school • Oct. 8 th – Students from Midwestern dental school for a Q&A about the application process and the school • Oct. 21 st – Phillip Scharf, the director of the pre-professional advising office, will be presenting "The Road to Dental School". It is very informative, especially for freshman, sophomores, and juniors. • Nov. 4 th – Dr. Baker, a local dentist, will teach us a little bit about impressions, and then we will take dental impressions on one another! Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. • Nov. 18 th: Admissions Representative • Dec. 2 nd: End of Semester Social

CARE Student Run Dental Clinic MARIAM MAHMOOD • To Volunteer, You Need: – CPR Certification – CARE OSHA/HIPAA Training Course (free) – All Vaccinations up-to-date • Once these qualifications are met, volunteers can sign up for clinic sessions posted each month over the Pre. Dents listserv. – List. Serv directions on website • I will email them the forms to bring in when they volunteer. Shayan. salim@asu. edu – Scrubs and closed toed shoes are required under a disposable gown/lab coat.
