ASEAN FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT ON SERVICES (AFAS) q Signed on December 15, 1995 q (Article V) “Each Member State may recognize the education or experience obtained, requirements met, or licenses or certifications granted in another Member State, for the purpose of licensing or certification of suppliers. Such recognition may be based upon an agreement or arrangement with the Member State concerned or may be accorded autonomously. ”

Recognition and Eligibility of Foreign Professional in the PH • In compliance with Country Professional Degree requirements • Certified by Professional Regulatory Authority of not having violated any professional or ethical standards • Has declared that there is no pending investigation or legal proceeding • A foreign professional who satisfies all the conditions shall be recognized as qualified to practice in the Host Country
