BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL Ø The school was established in July 1991 with classes up 5 th standard and was Initially run in NCO’s institute. Ø The school was upgraded to class 10 th w. e. f 01 April 1998 and shifted to reappropriated location in Jul 1998. Class XII with Science stream started w. e. f 01 July 2003. Ø The construction of new school building has almost completed and school is likely to be shifted in near future.

AWES INITIATIVE Ø VBIL- Activity Based Teaching to make Learning Fun, where the subject is contextualized. Value Based Integrated Learning (VBIL) successfully blended into our curriculum. Ø VSAT-The school is providing specialized coaching to the students of classes 9 th to 12 th through V-Sat (Virtual Class Room) Tech, one of very fast growing concept in today’s educational environment.
Ø EBC- (English Bridge Course) It helps students who I have had no exposure to English. It comprises of three modules which are progressive in nature i. e. beginners, intermediate and senior level. Ø CCE- (Continuous and comprehensive evaluation) Students are assessed continuously by formative and summative assessment. This is being followed for classes I-VIII. Ø CAL- Implemented partial Computer Aided Learning ( Laboratories only) due to the class rooms size and space constraints
Ø HERBAL GARDEN - Est. on 06 sep 2007. It has variety of herbal plants like amla, lemon grass, turmeric, tulsi, bael, arjun etc. Ø GREEN OLYMPAID- To create awareness among students regarding various environmental issues, Ministry of Environment of Govt of India is organizing Green Olympiad every year. This year it is scheduled for 12 sep, where 47 students are participating. Ø SCIENCE PARK- It will be set up in premises of new school building.

TEACHERS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS / WORKSHOPS Ø FDRC-Teachers are attending scheduled workshops on regular basis. Ø PRT workshop was conducted from May 18 to May 22 in the school to discuss topics like NCF 2005, ELT/EBC Lecture/Practice, VBIL, CCE Activity /Experimental based teaching. Ø Computer workshop was also conducted to familiarize tchrs with surfing the net, downloading , searching information, using CAL packages etc in order to make all the teachers computer savvy.
