WP 5 • TITLE: Technical and scientific coordination • Lead contractor: UNESCO, SOPMARE • WP 5 • TITLE: Technical and scientific coordination • Lead contractor: UNESCO, SOPMARE • Activities: – Coordination of the interdisciplinary pilot study of 10 archaeological coastal sites of the Mediterranean: – park of the Egadi islands in the Channel of Sicily; – site of Sinis, in Sardinia; – site of Carthage, in Tunisia; – site of Pharos island, in Alexandria of Egypt; – site of Thessaloniki/Termaico Gulf, in Greece; – site of Empuries, Catalonia in Spain; – sites of Malta; – sites of Villefranche-sur-Mer Bay, in France; – site of Tire, in Lebanon; – sites of Gibraltar.

WP 7 - b • Activities: – To establish executive rules for partners relations WP 7 - b • Activities: – To establish executive rules for partners relations management. – Creation of a linking network using the website – To specify a number of indicators to monitor the project, using the chrono programme and the general project – planning, the milestones and the expected results. – To realize a self evaluation and an internal assessment of the project, involving all partners on the basis of ad hoc questionnaires. – To realize a mid-term assessment (at month 12) that will involve the EC project Officer, upon which will depend the decision to continue the project or not, will be carried out.

WP 8 • TITLE: Management of the activities in relation to the European Commission WP 8 • TITLE: Management of the activities in relation to the European Commission • Lead contractor: SOPMARE • Activities: – documents, communication between partners and EC channel arrangement; – executive rules for partners relations management; – predisposition of the organizational chart; – step-by-step monitoring over: completed activities, every single stage and timely delivery of requested documents, collection of produced records and of project costs statements; – operating and logistic support in transfers; – execution and planning of the check-audit for work progress in relation to timetable program.
