John’s School Day. John gets up at half past seven(7. 30. ) in the morning. He has breakfast at 8 o’clock. He has tea and toast and strawberry jam for breakfast. He likes strawberry jam very much. Then he goes to school. He usually goes by bus , but sometimes his father drives him to school in the family car. He has lunch at school and goes home at 3. 00 in the afternoon. He gets home from school at half past three(3. 30) His mother cooks dinner for the family.

After dinner John rests a little , then he does his homework. Then he helps his mother about the house. He usually phones Richard. Sometimes John goes to Richard’s house and sometimes Richard comes to John’s. They usually listen to the records. They like pop music but sometimes they listen to classical music, too. If the weather is fine , they go out and ride their bikes with their friends.

English schools usually have a lots of clubs. John belongs to the Art Club and the Camera Club. Richard goes to the Art Club , too. He also belongs to the Science Club and the Music Club.

In the evening John watches TV or reads. He goes to bed at half past nine, but he reads a little in bed , too. He always goes to bed early and he usually sleeps very well. His mother says to him “Good night” and gives him a kiss every night.
