Anansi and the frog By Tom Farley and Callum Cocker
PAGE ONE One sunny hot day a little spider called Anansi was walking to the pet shop to buy a pet frog for his birthday. He found a frog that he liked. He bought the frog then went home happily. He dropped off the frog at home and went to look for his friend Lion. He found the Lion. Anansi asked politely “brother Lion can I have some food fo my pet frog? ” “of cource. Anansi. ’’
PAGEwent home with the bag of food and instead TWO Anansi of Anansi giving the food to the frog he ate it all himself gobble crunch! He was so full that he went to bed. The next morning, the little Anansi went to sneak some food. He saw Zebra and asked him if he could have some food for his pet frog. “Of course Anansi al be happy to. I love frogs”
PAGE THREE Anansi went back home and he ate all the food in front of the frog’s face Gobble gobble crunch! He was so full that he went to bed. The next morning, little Anansi went to look for brother Elephant. “Hello brother Elephant, can I have some food for my pet frog please? ” Brother Elephant said, “Yes, of course you can”. Anansi then walked home happily with a grin.
PAGE FOUR Anansi teased the frog by pretending to give him the food but he ate all the food in front of his face. Gobble gobble crunch! One of Anani’s friends was looking through the window, they were very cross. They decided it was their turn to get revenge! So thet sent him an invitation: Hello Anansi met us at the snorkelling tour ) : )):
PAGE FIVE Anansi was walking down to the pond. He saw all his friends. Everybody said, “Come on Anansi”. They all dived in the pond. Anansi tried to dive in the pond, but he wouldn’t sink to the bottom. He just floated to the top. He could not eat the food Anansi learned his lesson. THE END
Moral: Never trick people or thay will trick you back I hope you learnt your lesson.
