The Beginnings The AX Group was founded in 1975 by the Chairman, Mr. Angelo Xuereb. He was still a twenty-two year old lad, who, at that time was determined to create his own business and started off by undertaking small construction works and traditional concreting. Business prevailed and within two years, this headstrong man formed his own company - Angelo Xuereb Construction Ltd in 1977 and never looked back 3

The Constructors Ltd. . OCI Ltd was set-up in 1992 with the principal aim to spearhead the AX Group’s overseas operations. The company has been registered in Libya with the National Oil Corporation and the Department of Trade since 1994. It offers various services including general construction, erection of steelwork and other related services in the oil sector. 12
