AXr. EM is the Association of Healthcare Technology Providers for Imaging, Radiotherapy and Care AXr. EM was formerly known as the Association of X -ray Equipment Manufacturers (Constituted around 1955) AXr. EM management and administration services are provided by GAMBICA – the Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology. However, AXr. AXr. EM structure Currently, there are three categories of membership - Multi-Interest Member - Specialist-Focus Group Member (SFG) • The AXr. EM Executive Committee meets four times a year and is the controlling body. • Of the current 15 members of the Executive Committee 12 are UK Managing Directors. • AXr. EM members represent a UK market share of around 85%. • Consequently the Executive Group is influential within Do. H • Other Groups in AXr. EM meet 2 - 4 times a year. May 2012 Page 6 of 10
