Today, it is commercialised by Agora Systems S. A. • A free version is available, with limited functionality. Impressions about the use of Isabel • Different versions of Isabel cannot interoperate with Impressions about the use of Isabel • Different versions of Isabel cannot interoperate with each other The hardware requirements are very important to assure good quality during the conferences. • The use of an operating system different from Su. SE can make it difficult to configure Isabel. • The use of a chat software (IRC) was very important to prepare the endpoints and resolve the problems with audio and video. • Isabel doesn’t support the same quality that a endpoint specific equipment, such as a Polycom View. Conclusion • This was the first demonstration in Brazil of a non-trivial application over Conclusion • This was the first demonstration in Brazil of a non-trivial application over IPv 6 • Except for the performance problems, which are unrelated to the technology used, the experiment was considered to have been a success – Participants were very enthusiastic and contributed a lot of time and energy to the project • Most important lesson: IPv 6 will only really prosper when the users can see advantages in its use – this requires the availability of significant applications. • Many thanks to all partners and participants!
