22 d of June. The German fascists attacked the SU – our country. The term Great Patriotic War great Otechestvennaya war is used in Russia and former republics of the Soviet Union to describe the period from 22 June 1941 to 9 May 1945 in the many fronts of the eastern campaign of World War II between the Soviet Union and ouer Germany with its allies.

There were a lot of great battles and great victories: Famous Battle for Moscow recreates the German unsuccessful attempt to capture Moscow in late 1941, followed by the Russian counter-offensive that denied the German any chance to conclude the eastern war that year

The Battle for Stalingrad The Battle of Stalingrad was a major and decisive battle of World War II in which ouer Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union for control of the city of Stalingrad (now Volgograd) in the southwestern Soviet Union. The battle took place between 23 August 1942 to 2 February 1943 and was marked by constant close-quarters combat, and lack of regard for military and civilian casualties.
