Dam Square, or simply the Dam is a town square in Amsterdam. Its notable buildings and frequent events make it one of the most wellknown and important locations in the city. Dam Square lies in the historical center of Amsterdam, approximately 750 meters south of the main transportation hub, Centraal Station, at the original location of the dam in the river Amstel. It's the favorite square of Amsterdammers and tourists.
We stopped in the Owl Hotel because he situated in the centre of Amsterdam, within walking distance of Leidseplein with its many restaurants, cafes and shopping streets. The city's entertainment centre, Vondelpark, the Opera and the large number of museums are located within walking distance too.
I chose the Amsterdam because it's a beautiful city with a magical attraction for people all over the world. Magnificent Amsterdam resembles a city where the romantic heroes from our favorite childhood fairy tales lived. It's the city of canals and red -white-brownish facades is one of the favorite cities for tourists.
