After graduating from secondary education, students receive a British GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education. After that they can continue their education for the purpose of admission to a university or college or receive vocational training and start working.
I wish to continue their education in the UK universities have to go through a two-year training program for ALevel. Upon completion of this program, it issued a "Certificate of Secondary Education Advanced level» (General Certificate of Education, GCE Alevels) which gives the opportunity to study at leading universities in the UK.
Universities in Britain enjoy complete academic freedom, choosing their own staff and deciding which students to admit, what and how to teach, and which degrees to award (first degrees are called Bachelor degrees). They are mainly governmentfunded, except for the totally independent University of Buckingham In the UK, called the first higher education undergraduate. In British universities , such a system existed for several centuries.
The British Masters universities and all higher education programs following the first higher are called postgraduate. UK undergraduate and graduate programs are separate.
Masters can be divided into two groups : Taught programmes; Research programmes.
Applicants graduated from high school, eleven classes, write three state test and the results are going to university. Higher education - the level of basic education, providing training of qualified specialists, development of abilities and intellectual and creative potential of the person.
Higher education comprises two steps: the first stage of higher education (bachelor) provides training specialist with fundamental and specialized knowledge, skills and abilities, and completed qualification and a diploma of higher education;
the second stage of higher education (MSc) provides indepth training, the formation of knowledge and skills of scientificpedagogical and scientific-research work, completed awarding the degree of "Master" and the issuance of a master's degree.
Currently, in Belarus there are 45 state and 10 private higher education institutions. Training is carried out on the 15 education profiles.
