Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the continental and regional priority and projects; programs • Established by Decision 14 of the AU Assembly of January 2010. [Assembly/AU/14 (XIV) ] 2. Mobilize resources and partners in support of the implementation of Africa’s priority programs and projects; • as the Technical Body of the African Union (AU), with the following functions: 3. Conduct and coordinate research and knowledge management; 4. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of programs and projects; and 5. Undertake advocacy road shows to seek buy-in from Stakeholders: ü RECs, national governments ü CSOs ü Partners ü in support of key AAP low hanging fruit projects 4. Investment Roundtable ü To mobilize the net resources of US$9. 3 billion required to financial close on the AAP priority projects, in collaboration with ICA++. 6
