D Diving Safety DIVER RECALL SIGNAL (DRS) • DST DRS Trials Gib 2014 for MOD & BDSG • Trials on Ocean Reef conducted on wreck & open seabed • Units expensive & didn’t work in shadow of wreck • Ocean. Ears DSD – 6 E trialled by FDU in US & approved • Work in progress with TLSFx for underwater thunderflash • Trials ongoing

D Diving Safety MILITARY QUALIFICATIONS V’s BSAC QUALIFICATIONS • BSAC update after JSSADPAC meeting 17 Mar • BSAC Statement of Alternative Training (SALT) for Military divers conducted in 07/08 JSSADC CI & DSO AT • Military divers receive lecture OT 1 before leaving DDS • Return to Unit & join BSAC Military Branch • HMS Temeraire fund x – over packs & available from JSSADC
