Contract and Service Model Internet 2 will negotiate a standard agreement for all universities to leverage with service provider. • Internet 2 will sign a master agreement with the service provider. • Each university will sign an agreement with Internet 2 to add the SIP services selected to their portfolio. • Each school will receive a detailed report of all its usage and services for each month direct from the service provider. Internet 2 will provide each school with a summary statement of the services and fees. • Schools will provide the funds to Internet 2. • Internet 2 will then aggregate the funds from all the schools and make one remittance to the service provider. • Internet 2’s costs for managing the service will be recovered via fees collected from the schools.
