Options for obtaining the necessary SPSS software 1. SPSS is available in all of the GSU computer labs. If you reside on campus, you could do your HWs and Take-homes in the GSU computer labs. 2. If you are a teaching assistant or a Ph. D student in the Robinson college, you are considered “staff” and you can get the SPSS software on a disk from the Computer Center for $6. 00. 3. You can rent a copy of the necessary SPSS software (Grad Pack) from e-academy (this is an internet seller of Software) for $80 plus $14 S&H. This is a 6 month lease. 4. The specific version of SPSS There are different versions of SPSS software (v 15 versus v 16) and many different bundles and add-ons for SPSS software. Be very careful to lease/buy the correct version/bundle. Almost any version of SPSS will be more than adequate. The two most recent versions are v 18 and v 19. The bundle you want is SPSS “Grad Pack”. This has the SPSS base, the SPSS Regression add-on and the SPSS Advance add-on. You will also need the “Grad Pack” if you take MGS 8170 Multivariate Analysis.
