According to scientists, the main world threat in 2016 is climate change.

Ethiopia has suffered from the strongest drought over the past 50 years. The population of Ethiopia is now suffering from lack of food. The harvest has been destroyed and livestock has died out in the country.

And English people were waiting for drifts but received heavy rains at Christmas. The rivers in the heart of the country overflowed the banks; the cloudbursts turned London into a city on the water.

Recently, the wave of heavy tornados has swept through American Florida. In January, a powerful snowstorm swept through the eastern US coast and whelmed the city with huge masses of snow. According to weather forecasters, it was the strongest snowstorm in the last 110 years. 85 million people in 11 states turned out to be in the eye of the storm. More than 40 people were killed during three days.

Cherry-size ice pieces came down in the United Arab Emirates. Yellow desert dunes changed into snow-covered slopes.

The world climate is changing

I think that ecological problems should be discussed as we should know what problems we face and what problems we have to solve.

Water and air pollution are the main problems nowadays. What can we do to help the environment?

Don’t dump industrial waste into rivers, lakes, seas and oceans • 5. Don’t turn the planet into a rubbish dump
