The University Center― a New Campus Centerpiece a New Campu Centerpiece n Our 366, 000 -square-foot, multipurpose facility houses a 4, 500 -seat arena and convocation center, a fitness and wellness center, a student union, and a performing arts center. n This facility is the second largest entertainment venue in Broward County. n The University Center is home to NSU athletics, as well as university and community events open to the public.

Rolling Hills n The Rolling Hills Graduate Apartments houses 373 graduate and doctoral students. n Each single and quad apartment is furnished and n Opening on August 1, 2008, the Rolling Hills Graduate features a kitchen, bathroom, and living area. The Medical Village at NSU n A proposed world-class hospital with up to 150 acute care beds operated by the North Broward Hospital District n Will focus on education, research, and innovation, while providing culturally sensitive care to residents in west central Broward County
The NSU Academical Village n This exciting project will follow the Jeffersonian concept of a “community of scholars and students living and working closely together, combining theory with practice. ” n This $500 -million partnership will transform a 30 -acre, universityinvestment into a high-tech research/office park with nearly three million square feet of office, retail, financial, governmental, and residential space, as well as a hotel and a conference center. n This project is expected to generate millions in tax revenue and in workforce development, including high-tech jobs.
Our Academical Village and hospital will result in an additional $1 billion economic impact in South Florida.
