25 th AE ANNUAL CONFERENCE in Wrocław (Poland) General summary • 16 -19 September 25 th AE ANNUAL CONFERENCE in Wrocław (Poland) General summary • 16 -19 September 2013 (+ private AE meetings) • 350 participants, with approx one third coming from Poland • Nobel Prize, Lasker Award, Turing Award, Abel Award or Gödel Prize laureates, HL representation from EC and Polish communities • 10 outstanding young Polish scholars with the 2013 Burgen Scholarships • Plenary lectures fully video-recorded • Substantive part of the conference prepared by AE Program Committee members • Logistics - team of Academia Europaea Wrocław Knowledge Hub, Convention Bureau – Wroclaw and the Head office of the AE in London

SEMINAR Early Modern Print Culture In Central Europe General Summary • The Wrocław Semiars SEMINAR Early Modern Print Culture In Central Europe General Summary • The Wrocław Semiars - initiative of Academia Europaea, University of Wrocław and Riksbankens Jubileumsfond • Three-year project mainly for young researchers from Central and Eastern Europe. • The seminar gathered more than 60 persons, where of 24 participants presented their papers (e. g. Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belarus, Russia, Germiany, Slovakia and Sweden) • Early Modern Print Culture In Central Europe took place at the same time as 25 th Conference of Academia Europaea from 16 to 18 September 2013, at the Faculty of Philology, University of Wrocław
