a af The Need The Canadian Copyright Act, Section 32(1) says that a person or a non-profit, at the request of a person with a perceptual disability, can reformat copyright-protected works for the use of the disabled individual without infringing, as long as the alternate format is not commercially available.
a af Perceptual Disability According to the CCA, this includes sight impairment, difficulty holding a book, and impairment relating to comprehension.
