Status of current projects - (2) n MAC Service revision (P 802. 1 ac) – Initial input generated based on ISO/IEC JTC 1 standard 15802 -1 plus ISS, E-ISS from 802. 1 D and 802. 1 Q – Second draft (D 0. 1) generated for circulation to the WG n P 802. 1 X Revision – was P 802. 1 af Key Agreement – Current draft is D 2. 1 – TG ballotting in progress; comment resolution completed. WG balloting will proceed.

Status of current projects - (3) n P 802. 1 ah – Provider Backbone Bridges – Proposed amendment to 802. 1 Q to provide further scaling characteristics in conjunction with P 802. 1 ad in large provider networks – Current draft is D 4. 1 – Sponsor ballot recirculation completed; comment resolution completed. Conditional approval for Rev. Com submission granted. n P 802. 1 aj – Two-port MAC Relay – Proposed amendment to 802. 1 Q to define a relay device, commonly known as a “media converter”, that will assist the integration of 802 LAN technologies with emulated LAN services in use in the provider networking space. – Current draft is 2. 2 – First WG ballot and comment resolution completed; awaiting next draft and recirc ballot.
