8 th Quality Circle Convention & 5 th Kaizen Mela 2012 The “ 8 th Quality Circle Convention” & “ 5 th Kaizen Mela” of Ashok Minda Group was held on 21 st September 2012 at MCL-Noida. Top three teams from each region (North & West/South) in Quality Circle & in each category of Kaizen (Associate, Team & Office) participated in the group level competition. As last year, European plants also presented their Kaizen on webex (video-conferencing). Event started with opening address by Dr. P. Elangovan followed by Lamp Lighting with Ganesh Vandana. Evaluation of case studies was done by a panel including 2 external judges – Mr. Anirudha Kaushik and Mr. Rajasekaran from QCFI. Top three Winners in Quality Circle & in each category of Kaizens were presented with a trophy and certificate and other got participation certificate. The event was concluded with the National Anthem.
