Location River Market at Westminster Quay provided great energy, free parking, tables, chairs, and entertainment. This supported our goal to reach seniors in Downtown New Westminster. 41% of survey respondents had never attended IMBY Fair before, compared to 28% in 2011. 2012
Registration Senior volunteers from SPAN’s IMBY Fair Planning Group distributed free bags from Fraser Health Lifeline and market coupons while conducting entry and exit surveys. 2012

Seniors Services Society organized a special Out & About trip. Participants capped off their day watching the Vancouver Circus School Showcase before enjoying coffee and sweets. 2012
IMBY Fair 2012 Outcomes • 27 exhibitors registered, 24 arrived • 75 registered attendees, with one exhibitor counting 122 people (69% women, 31% men - up from 25. 5% men in 2011) • 55% attended before, 41% for the first time • 71% live in New Westminster, 8% in Burnaby • 7% were under 44 31% were 55 - 64 19% were 75 - 84 7% were 45 - 54 years old 32% were 65 - 74 4% were 85 or older • 43% drove to the fair, 27% walked, and 7% took transit • 33% were there alone (decrease from 73% in 2011) 8% with their spouse, 16% with a friend — 3% were with family • 29% were through word-of-mouth, 29% read a newspaper article, 19% saw “The Clarion” promo, 15% saw the poster • Of 22 Exit Surveys, ratings were: 14 Good, 5 Average, 2 Poor 2012
