2008 LIFESAVING CONFERENCE Training & Assessment Stream SM - BASIC BEACH MANAGEMENT – Andy Doyle What is Silver Medallion - Basic Beach Management? • Basic Beach Management is an award to reflect the values of Patrol Captain or Lifeguard – “Beach Managers” Who needs SM – Basic Beach Management? • From 1 January 2009 each patrol must have at least one person with the award, and it is expected that all Patrol Captains will have the award
