Pilot Project Implementation Page 7 Technological platform (data from the OBU unit) • • • Position = place and time Container specification = container number Shock sensor = accident One-way data related to the OBU technology = e. g. condition of the battery capacity One-way data related to recording operation data for the freight/container = e. g. pressure, temperature, opening of the unit inlets, etc. Two-way data related to the OBU technology = e. g. setting the shock sensor intensity, geofencing

Tracking of individual journeys Who will be placing the OBU unit on the container? – it is necessary to develop a system of subjects (OBU unit operators) who would maintain the units in working condition following the same methodology and carry out assembly and disassembly of OBU units at the same time (many subjects from all over Europe): consignors; carriers; operators; forwarders; others These subjects do not always need to correspond with the input of other data in the T&T system = legislation must provide for this!!!

SAP, ORACLE) • Manually – smaller subjects without adequate IT equipment Limitation of work duplication, automated operation, human factor error rate – obtaining data entered in standardly used systems (e. g. SAP) and interconnection with T&T data storage (data generation in the form of a consignment note) - DEKRA application!!!!

(ADRem can be used – information from chemical legislation, substance leakage) E. g. safety data sheet proved to be useful for the TRINS systém.
Pilot Project Implementation Page 16 Information about an accident besides the integrated rescue system The customer should have access to information about accident – position and information regarding the accident. Information regarding the accident must be divided into three areas: • 1. line – separate information necessary only for the integrated rescue system • 2. line – comprises of the consignor, carrier and consignee (they have all the information regarding the accident) • 3. line – statistical data (foreign transport, accident frequency, multimodal transport, volume of the transported quantity of dangerous goods…)
Pilot Project Implementation Page 17 Accident – position (current state) • Road – if the driver is unconscious, information about the accident is provided by accident witnesses at the scene of the accident – lay factor of nonprofessional orientation in the NV issues • Railway shuttle – operator knows the scene of the train accident • River – in compliance with Czech legislation, inland waterway transport is monitored (River Information Services – tracking of entire ships)
Pilot Project Implementation Page 18 Data for other subjects? • Public administration bodies • EU bodies • Regional use - Routes - Accidents - Risk analysis etc. • Statistical Offices: - Information about the movement of containers carrying dangerous substances in the individual countries and in the monitored territories
Pilot Project Implementation Page 19 T&T data warehouse - suggestion Based on the analysis of requirements regarding the content of data warehouse we came to the suggestion to use the data system in consignment notes!!!
Pilot Project Implementation Page 20 Transport document Consigment notes: • International consigment notes are a part of international contracts: CMR – road transport CIM – railway transport River transpot document – river transport • Commonly known (for international transports) • False information is sanctioned (relevant public administration authority)
Pilot Project Implementation Page 21 Creation of a transport document - consignor is liable for filling in the transport document for dangerous goods - language: official language of the consigning country + English, French or German - Consignor and carrier must archive transport document ADR, RID, ADN for at least 3 months (printed form or electronically)

Who is the consignor of the empty, not cleaned container? – driver, engine driver, master mariner (carrier)? ? ? 2.
