Researchers’ responsibilities Researchers’ personal and career development are recognised and promoted at all stages of their career, and individual researchers share the responsibility for their own personal and career development. Researchers should pro-actively engage in their own personal and career development. 5. Equality and diversity are promoted in all aspects of the recruitment and career management of researchers. 6. Implementation and review The University will work with other key stakeholders in the sector to undertake regular and collective reviews of progress in strengthening the attractiveness and sustainability of research careers in the UK.
