First of all lets talk about Interpreting So, what is interpreting?
Interpreting is an oral translation of a text, without writing. You listen to someone speaking one language and then you speak it to another person in a different language. Interpreting is important in practical work and often times you will not have access to tools like the internet or a dictionary.
Translation Interpreting Mostly written work. Often work with texts. Don’t have to deal with people. Access to many tools. Mostly spoken and listening work Often work with people. Deal directly with people. Access to little tools
Two-Way Translation You will act as an interpreter between two people speaking casually. It is the most relaxed and informal form of interpreting. Requires great listening skills, familiarity with spoken English (including slang) and sensitivity to non-verbal body language.
