Los pronombres relativos que y quien v The words que and quien can link two parts of a sentence. When used in this way que (that, which, whom) and quien(es) (who, whom): • do not have accents. • refer back to a noun in the main clause (main part of the sentence). • provide a smooth transition from one idea to another, eliminating the repetition of the noun.

La agente de viaje que conocimos ayer viajó por todo el mundo hace tres años. The travel agent (that) we met yesterday traveled around the world three years ago. El monumento nacional que quieren visitar está en el centro de la ciudad. The national monument (that) you want to visit is in the center of the city.
