Why visit Huangshan in the winter? 1:The price is lower. December to February is the off season. The entrance fee, cable car ticket and hotel costs are all lower than in the high season. 2:There is the beautiful winter scenery to enjoy. In winter, West Sea Grand Canyon and Tian Du Peak will be closed due to snow, but, as there is no rain in winter, there is a greater possibility of seeing the Sea of Clouds and beautiful snow scenes. 3:There are very few tourists. In the high season, there is always a long queue at the cable car station. Some spots will be crowded with tourists. However, in winter time, there are few tourists on the mountain, so you can enjoy the scenery in relative tranquility. Important notes: Be care of your safety where there is snow or ice on the ground. Please walk slowly and watch out the steps.
