• Oxford is a unique and historic institution. It has 39 colleges. • The University was founded in 12 century, but teaching existed at Oxford in some form in 1096.

The University has 35 separate colleges. For many years, only five of these colleges were for women. Now there’re 39 colleges of Oxford University. Every college has it’s own library, a dining room & a sports ground.
• Two rivers flow slowly through the city and pass the colleges. If you visit Oxford, you should try punting on the river. • Teachers of Oxford don’t allow to walk on the grass.
The Bridge of Oxford University This is the bridge of Oxford. Universit y. The students go on it every day from the bedroom to the classroom.
