Reaching Out to Promote Decent Work q The DWA has been widely endorsed at Reaching Out to Promote Decent Work q The DWA has been widely endorsed at the highest level by the: - International community in the framework of the United Nations; G 20; Regional bodies such as the EU, AU, etc. q It is an internationally recognised global development goal and the subject of MDG Target 1. B. q At the G 20 the ILO has systematically pointed to the imperative of a job-rich recovery as the basis for people-centred recovery. q Also, the ILO has underscored the role of employment, social protection, fundamental principles and rights at work and social dialogue in realising the G 20 Framework for Strong, Sustainable and Balanced Growth.
