Problem for us: - Complete & adapt the existing hardware - Existing C software could not be used - 4 month to install a working system in the first firm 7

THE RESULTS ABOUT THE DIMM SYSTEM - Fully automated system, so used by operator THE RESULTS ABOUT THE DIMM SYSTEM - Fully automated system, so used by operator from the firm - DIMM systems have found several collared coils out of tolerance -> indispensable to assure field quality for the LHC -> real mechanical defects found in the position indicated - Good correlation found between warm & cold measurements -> reduction of the cold MM in SM 18 by > 80% 14
