The new rule now allows the Referee the option of either issuing a Caution or a Warning. >Boxing Gloves During the Technical Meeting, the Franchises will give their competition gloves to Boxing Gloves During the Technical Meeting, the Franchises will give their competition gloves to the Supervisor who will check them and give them back to the Head Coach of each Team, no later than one (1) hour before the start time of the Match. Boxers must put on their gloves in the respective locker rooms in the presence of an authorized Franchisee Bandage/Glove Inspector. Gloves must be signed as well by the Franchisee Bandage/Glove Inspector in the area covered by surgeon tape. Surgeon Tape can be used to seal the gloves for covering the laces, however it should not cover any logos or exceed more than 2 cms above the wrist level of the glove. The gloves shall be taken off immediately after the Bout is over and before the decision is announced, and the bandages will be checked by the Referee

If both Boxers exceed or are under the weigh limit of their category by more than 500 grams, both Boxers will not be permitted to compete and both Boxers shall be deemed to have lost the Bout (“Walkover by Overweight”). The Boxer and the relevant Franchise may be subject to a disciplinary fine Non compliance of weight limit

Boxers are reminded that refusal to provide a sample can render them liable to disqualification and may lead to further disciplinary action Boxers who are required to use prescribed medication for the treatment of a medical condition should ensure that they have registered their medication, where necessary, through the Therapeutic Use Exemption system prior to the match Anti-doping Tests
