Why are there residential consultation centres? The first centers have been established about 1990 because we had expierienced people must not be accommodated at a nursing home residental relations were adapted to their needs. Senior citizens: Residential adaptation / residential consultation Problem situations: • Small, narrow, old buildings • Hillside situations • Row houses (in row houses of older construction date a kitchen, a sitting room and a small WC is in basement mostly, sanitary area and bedroom in the upper floors) Big problem: Here old row house in hillside situation (arises the problems of the fact that the properties are often very small by which inexpensive ramps cannot be established for overcoming gradients. 6% of gradient are allowed, this means with 60 cm of height difference 10 -m length of the ramp) Because our aim is to consult relatively reasonably, here we often reach our borders. Senior citizens: Residential adaptation / residential consultation Who can consult us? • Affected persons and their members • Architects • Craftsman • Ill cashes / nursing cashes A base of the consultation are the SGB XI as well as the German Institute for Standardization 18024 and 18025 Cost of the consultation? • Consultation is free. • Indeed, only single projects will be consultet, no large-scale projects. • Other residential advice centres calculate partly fees which are partially taken over then from the care insurence. • We provide as a rule no architects or craftsmen. • We make no construction care.
