History of our gymnasium The history of gymnasium goes back to 1939. Really the first building of our gymnasium is building of school in nagornoe. Actually two schools start living from there – our and school №№ 21. The first headmaster – Vasiliy Fedorovich Kovyasin. He died during the world war the second. From 1941 the school began working as primary, but from 1948 – as secondary too.

In 1952 the school was given a new building. Now it is the building of lyceum №№ 1. In 1956 the school got the second building. Some teachers started work there – in school №№ 21, and the rest became teachers of school №№ 25. On the first of September in 1979 the school moved to a new building, where it is situated now. The headmaster – Feldstein was given a symbolic hey. He cut the red ribbon and everyone came into the building. From 2005 the school became a gymnasium № 10. .

Our gymnasium is one of the best schools of Murmansk. Our pupils always took part in different competitions. Our gymnasium has it’s own symbols. They are: a hymn and an emblem. Gymnasium is very safety. Health of our pupils -special care of all gymnasium collective and parents. Nowadays
